Start With a Safe Operating Check
The most useful maintenance habit is to watch the gate complete a full opening and closing cycle at least once a month. Stand clear of the gate path and observe its movement from a safe distance. A properly functioning system should move at a consistent speed, stop in the correct positions, and operate without scraping, jolting, or excessive noise.
